Khorshid Asadi

My name is Khorshid, and I live in Tehran. I entered the world of pottery in 2018, starting with the potter’s wheel. After a short course, I continued to practice on my own and gradually developed my skills. For a while, I taught pottery at an art institute, and later I opened my own art shop.I first experimented with glazes on my own, but to achieve more professional results I studied under Mohammad (known as Mammad Panda), which marked the beginning of our collaboration.My main focus is working with the wheel and exploring playful forms, sometimes combining them with sculptural elements. Pottery is more than just an art form to me—it is my true passion, a source of peace that separates me from the noise of everyday life and connects me deeply to myself.
